  Hi! WordPress.com works really well with existing domain names that you already own. All you have to do is sign up for a WordPress.com website then setup domain mapping which you can find more info about at https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/ – hoping this helps!

  Hi there,

  If you have had your domain registered at its current host for more than 60 days, you also have the option to transfer it over to WordPress.com as well.

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/

  That way you can have both your site and domain hosted at the same place if that is your preference.
