Hi @macharwek,
You can connect your domain DoorCleaningService purchased externally to WordPress.com.
There are two ways to do it
Domain Mapping: You can connect the domain to WordPress.com while keeping the registrar outside of WordPress.com
Domain Transfer: You can connect the domain by transferring the domain to WordPress.com While keeping the registrar to WordPress.comBesides you can rad the difference between domain mapping vs domain transfer.

Hi folks, we have several threads from this poster on this same topic. I’ll go ahead and close this one as a duplicate so we can keep all support in one place.
@macharwek please only post your questions at https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/am-having-difficulty-with-attaching-wordpress-to-an-existing-doman/ if you need further help. Thanks. -
Also to our forum volunteers: just a kind reminder to please check the member’s profile page to see if a thread is a duplicate and already answered or whether the Duplicate tag has been added to the Tags section in this thread’s sidebar.
If you find a duplicate thread, kindly add a comment pointing the member to their original thread as well. That helps us avoid duplicate efforts and answers. Thanks! :)
