I had a domain name through YP for 3 years. How do I retain this, or renew it

Wondering if I can still use my previous domain name on wordpress, or, what to do to get it back, or re-register it.

First, make sure your previous domain name is still available.

Thank You for that source. It appears I do still have it. Doesn’t expire til 2016.

You’ll need to map your domain to your WordPress.com site.

Thank you so much for your help. I do see from the Registrar Information page that it says clientTransfer Prohibited, so I’ll have to call and see what I need to do to have them allow me to transfer it. Alfreda

You don’t need to transfer your domain. You just need to update the DNS to point to the WordPress.com servers.
