I had a blog I was messing around with to learn how to use wordpress. I wanted to see what would happen if I changed the website address that it pointed to…so I changed it from http://www.executivedirectorgroup.com which is where it is really located to http://www.fosteringarts.org which is where I want to eventually use it…I wanted to see what would happen. Stupid! Now I can’t log in to my dashboard to change it back. Does anyone know how to get back in? Here is the message I’m getting when I click on my dashboard: “No input file specified.” and then if I go here: http://www.executivedirectorgroup.com/wp-login.php to try to log in, I get this log in screen

    fosteringArts.org

    Username

    Password

    Remember Me

    Register | Lost your password?

    ← Back to fosteringArts.org

BUT my user name and password (which are correct) get me this error message again: “No input file specified.”

How can I get back into my blog to change the address back to the actual address…ug.

So close and yet so far. I have a wordpress blog that points to a web address – the wordpress blog is there only – but what is the address of my wordpress blog ( I need this for support) when I put in the address it is only my website address…do you understand what I am asking?

It is the URL that was you originally set up for the blog when you signed up here.

I don’t understand what you typed…but my site is not hosted by wordpress. when I type in http://www.executivedirectorgroup.com the support tells me “NO” we can’t help you, we only support blogs we host. Is there really no way to get back in??? It seems impossible, what if someone made a typo or something?

Where is the blog hosted? I wrongly assumed it was hosted here at wordpress.COM and obviously that is not the case.

For self-hosted blogs you are in the wrong forum and need to inquire over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ which is where self-hosted wordpress blogs are supported.
