I can not get the header pic to delete. I would like to remove it and resize it.

    I have read everything, looked a the tutorials, a lot of material on how to upload, copy n paste a URL, how to edit it and change the shape and value. Nothing, I can find on Delete. The page is prompting to enter a new photo, I do, screen blinks, twitches, fuzzy, blacks out and poof. Old pic still remains. Is my only choice to Delete the page and start from scratch?

    How would anyone know that. Thank god for you. Nothing is printed on what buttons need to be touched, toggles switched, singles lowered or raised, which constellation i must be facing.
    I obviously know 0 about coding, but is it cheaper to not create directions or put he most challenging features that require extensive programming experience on the tool bar? I found it odd. I wrote a nice blog about the navigation of this software and I mentioned my effort this am to send you a thank you. trued to reply, by….replying to the email. thank you again. I don’t have the time or patience to learn C++ or Linux to change the font. Heading to the next service.

    Deleting Header Images
    If you decide you want to delete one of your custom header images, you can do so by going to Dashboard → Media → Library and clicking on “Delete Permanently” underneath the image. https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-header-image/#deleting-header-images

    I figured that one out about 3 hours ago. The only option is to delete the photo and you can’t use it again. Ridiculous, How do I see what style, size, feel, photo I want matched with backdrops.
    I am getting someone to do this. It is lunacy. A doc, to remove a pic. Maybe I am a weirdo, and use delete.
    Thanks I need to beg n plead someone to design this for me.

    Oh….. Canada…. ☺ love Canada. I used to go every year. Not since I lost my job in 14. 0 jobs. 0 aid cause I am white. Trump isnt a racist, bunch of prop, I know the Black girl who made the Viral video. She is executive for their Philanthropic orgamization. There are more minorities. Work for Trump than In Clinton org. You watch, he sweeps, women vote, and hispanic vote. But, I get the NY’er, attitude and tone can rub ppl the wrong way. But I will take the harsh, rude crass rhetoric as opposed to beon blown up, head cut off, shot… all day every day.
    But I can’t what to get back to CN.

    @outboard1129 please go to My Site > Customize > Header Image.

    The recommended header size for Gateway is 2560 pixels wide by 640 pixels high. You may need to use a graphic editing program to create an image in the ideal size.

    Also, please note the Gateway header image is more of a background image. It can get the sides cut off depending on the screen size, so be careful about adding words to the image unless you don’t mind them being cut off on smaller screens. You can preview this if you go to My Site > Customize and use the phone / tablet / desktop icons near the bottom.
