I am not able to create a button with a grab box

  • I’d like to create a button with a grab box for the code for others to use on their blogs to link back to mine. The text widget keeps deleting the grab box code. Not that I know what I am really doing here anyway! I have copied and pasted from a tutorial, but it doesn’t work. Can someone give me a proper code to use?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • How can they when you haven’t even shown us the original code? Paste it here between CODE tags so we can analyze it.

  • Well, I thought there was a standard code to use. As I said, I am a complete newbie at this and know nothing. I found a tutorial, saying to replace their site URLs with mine, so that’s what I did. Here is what I used.

    <div align="center"><a href="https://frommycarolinahome.wordpress.com/2015/03/12/quilt-along-mystery-quilt-2015/" target="_blank"><img src="https://frommycarolinahome.files.wordpress.com/2015/03/scrap-dance-qal.jpg" alt="Scrap Dance Quilt Along" /></a></div>
    <div align="center"><center><a href=" http://frommycarolinahome.wordpress.com/2015/03/12/quilt-along-mystery-quilt-2015/" target="_blank"><img alt="From My Carolina Home" src=" https://frommycarolinahome.files.wordpress.com/2015/03/scrap-dance-qal.jpg "/></a></center></div>
  • You can see what that does at Here scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. It shows the button, and the link code, but no grab box.

  • Hello? Can someone please respond?
