Hyperlinked text – only the underline is clickable

There are two hyperlinks on this page: http://prosperchristmasfestival.org/index.php/merchant-vendors/ pointing to pdf files.

In both cases, only the underline (and not the text itself) is clickable.

    The HTML looks normal: <span style="color: #ff0000; font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><a href="http://prosperchristmasfestival.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Food_Vendor_Application_2017.pdf">Food Vendor Application</a></span>

What’s weird is that before I started messing around with it, the second link had clickable text, but not it doesn’t – as if carriage returns or something affected the outcome.

OK, correction – the second link is currently clickable, but only the underline on the first. HTML is the same for both.

    <span style="color: #ff0000; font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><a href="http://prosperchristmasfestival.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Food_Vendor_Application_2017.pdf">Food Vendor Application</a></span>

    <span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><a href="http://prosperchristmasfestival.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Merchant_Vendor_Application_2017.pdf">Merchant Vendor Application</a></span>

Also, Juliet is the active theme.
