How to Show Image Only on Frontpage, and Not Postpage

    I have been trying in vain to get the image being displayed on the front page of my site to only show on there and not on the actual post page, but I haven’t had any luck trying to figure it out.
    I thought I could do it with featured image but no luck either. My site url is http://www.lavikreyol.com, the image I am referring to is the first one on the page with the play button, I want all my posts to be similar to it. I want when someone clicks on the image to be directed to the post, but without the image being displayed just the rest of the post.

    Someone please help me figure this out.
