  I am having problems installing plugins on my site. It seems the plugin tab does not show the add new feature. Please assist me do this

  That’s because it’s not possible to add plugins to a WordPress.com site. Anything you’ve read that says otherwise is actually referring to self-hosted sites using the WordPress.org software.
