How to get the real link to a picture posted in a blog post? I want to index it.
-
Hello,
I want to index a recipe from my blog post. The platform I am indexing on wants a link to a picture from my post. When I copy the link it says that this is not the real location of it and an error occurs. How can I get the correct link so the platform can recognize the location of the picture?
Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello,
It looks like pictures on your posts are linking to the media files. So, to get the real link, click on the picture. Then copy the link URL from your browser’s address bar. As an example, the picture with the strawberries link is:https://mytasteandlife.files.wordpress.com/2015/10/dsc03025.jpg -
Another way to locate them is to use your RSS Feed URL. The images are listed under Media files
https://mytasteandlife.wordpress.com/feed/ -
The third way is to got to your Media Library and your can locate the image file links there.

Hello!
Thank you all for the help and the suggestions but it does not work. The administrator of the platform says that WordPress is redirecting the content so it can be delivered safely through HTTPS server. So the picture is at this address http://www.mytasteandlife.files.wordpress.com/2015/09/dsc02972.jpg but to everyone who wants to see it it is delivered through this address https://mytasteandlife.files.wordpress.com/2015/09/dsc02972.jpg. SO The platform cannot get to the content when I paste the Https URL. IF I understood right I have to rewrite the address manually in order the platform to be able to get my picture or blog post. Whtever that means! I am not really aware of how to do it to be honest.
But still thanks for the help! -
Just remove the “s” from the image URL and make it http:// instead. I believe that should work. Please try it and let us know what happens.
