How to get my post listed, and in which language site?

    Hello! Normally all new blogs appear in the wordpress.com page under the reader tab and the relevant topic (i.e. “politics). My newly published post did not show this time.
    1.) I post in english and german, but use the german theme-format. When does a post appear in the german site, when in the english (en.wordpress.com)
    2.) How do I ensure my post is listed under the intended topic (i.e. politics, not culture, even both categories are chosen for the same post).?
