  hi

  I made a new gmail for my old wordpress account. So when I changed the email in the account settings, a confirmation was sent. But when I opened that confirmation link, it made a new account. So I need to delete this account to use that email for the other one. Please help.

  Hi there!

  You can’t delete accounts on WordPress.com. You can Deactivate accounts, by following these steps.

  Hi there,

  To disconnect your email address from that account create a throwaway email address from an online email service provider and then change the account email to that throwaway address. Finally, use your proper email address with your normal account.
