How to create unique usernames & passwords for my various users

    I was thinking to only allow certain readers (like 300 readers) to read my most updated post, while leaving the others readable by everyone. So that had me thinking to use a membership based control mechanism where readers who register with me (and possibly pay me if i impose a fee) will be able to read my latest post. What is the most efficient way for me to do that at wordpress.com?

    If your blog is hosted here at wordpress.COM, having someone pay to read your content would be a violation of the terms of service.

    If your blog is self-hosted on a third-party hosting service, then you are in the wrong forum and need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ which is where self-hosted wordpress blogs are supported.

    You can password protect individual posts and pages here, but you cannot set part of a blog to private (requiring a username/password login) here at wordpress.COM.
