MemberWe have a very large global blog that we would like to migrate from self-hosted to wordpress.com but would like to first confirm that with a business account we will be able to:
1: handle thousands of page views per day
2: Have several WordPress sites for several different countries all hosted in one WordPress dashboardWould either of these create issues if we were to migrate to a wordpress.com business account?
Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

StaffHi there,
1: handle thousands of page views per day
We have sites that get tens of thousands pageviews per day, with total pageviews across the platform numbering at over a hundred million per day, so I’m confident we can handle your site’s traffic. We don’t have any bandwidth limitations on WordPress.com, so your site has the exact same traffic capacity whether it’s on a free or a Business plan.
2: Have several WordPress sites for several different countries all hosted in one WordPress dashboard
Are you speaking of a Multisite installation? WordPress.com itself is one big multisite installation, so if you still want to move all of them here you’ll need to create a separate WordPress.com site for each one.
WordPress.com upgrades are purchased per site per year, so if you want to connect custom domains to those sites, or want them all to have access to plan-only featured, you’ll need to purchase a plan for each site.
Let me know if you have any more questions or if I’ve misunderstood what you want to do.
Thank you for your response!
Just to follow up on question 2. Would it be possible to have for example:
http://www.myblog.com/gb
http://www.myblog.com/aus
http://www.myblog.com/frAnd have a different blog with different content hosted on each one? Or is this not possible?

StaffNo and yes :)
We do not support mapping sites to subdirectories, but we do support mapping them to subdomains, so you can have
gb.myblog.com
aus.myblog.com
fr.myblog.comeach connected to a different WordPress.com site. However, you will need a plan for each site to connect it to a subdomain like this.
