Do I need a certain membership plan to be able to see my blog insights? Can’t find the views anywhere..

You should be able to click on Stats in your dashboard to view your site stats. From the stats page, you should be able to see both your views and visitors. For more information on views, please visit our support page:

I do not have this option on my dashboard. I have even used CTRL+F to search the page – no stats available. Does it make a difference that I’m using WordPress with Showit?

Ahh, I see the issue here.

There are two things commonly called “WordPress”.
1. WordPress the free open-source site building software from WordPress.org (this is what you used to build your website).
2. WordPress.com, a web host for sites using WordPress software.
The two are related, but completely separate entities. Please read this page for more info on how they are related:

What I would suggest is that you set up Jetpack Stats on your website, which should give you what you are looking for in terms of data:
