How do I show tags/categories on an excerpt?

    Using Hemingway Rewritten, love it, and enjoy the “auto excerpt” function, but would like my excerpt’s to have tags so people know what the posts are about. Any way to add that with CSS? I don’t see a way to do it in the Customizations.

    New to blogging, CSS, everything, so be gentle with me :)

    Hi there,

    This cannot be done with CSS, no. CSS can only be used to change the appearance of something already there, but it cannot be used to add something new.

    To have those display would require modifying this theme’s source files using a child theme, and that’s not something we’re able to help with. If you want to go that route I’d recommend you hire a freelance developer to create a child theme with the necessary changes for you.
