How do I make my WordPress Links Secure With Chrome Browser Without Upgrading
-
I have a slight problem. My links that that start with http:// and https:// WordPress deems insecure even though the blog is a secure site. My browser is Google Chrome. WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING) and CRYSTAL AND DAISY MAE’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE are this way. All I’m asking is for an easy way to make the links that start with http:// and https:// secure. My readers won’t click on these links if WordPress doesn’t make them secure. Please, Please make them secure. I know this can be done. So please help me.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I don’t see any warnings on either of your sites. They both load fine over https for me.
Can you please give a link to the specific post or page where you’re seeing a warning?
The SSL certificates for both your sites are fine. If you’re seeing a warning it’s most likely a mixed content warning. That warning appears if there is content on the page that cannot be loaded over https, most often an image that you have embedded from somewhere else using a http link. In that case the only way to remove the warning is to remove the non-secure content causing it.

I’m going to help with the link. Hope this helps. Go to: #8 Senior Salon If the link isn’t right, put in the search engine https://esmesalon.com/8-senior-salon-2019/
Once your at this site you’ll find it’s a blog hop. Scroll down and you will see the cat picture same as my avatar. I should be #41. When you click on visit on the picture is when I’m getting the Privacy Error. It’s a link to a post on CRYSTAL AND DAISY MAE’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE . Not sure what to think. -
Ah, I see the issue. This is the link:
crystalsphotobloggingsite.wordress.com/2019/02/25/my-accidental-writing-project/
That should be wordpress.com, not wordress.com. Can you ask your friend to fix the link?

Thanks for that catch. I didn’t see it. This site has a habit of dropping letters and I was trying to make sure all the letters were in I didn’t see this. Thank you so much. I’m glad it was a simple fix. Wish all problems could be fixed this easy. It’s now fixed. I was able to fix it myself.
You and the others are always happy to help. I appreciate that. -
