For locating the ways and means of accessing the legacy or classic pages for creating posts, editing posts, and viewing stats see here > Navigating the Classic WordPress.COM interface http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2015/04/05/navigating-the-classic-wordpress-com-interface/

Thank you Timethief, you’re always so helpful. I hate the new editor and am so glad you’ve given me the way to get back to the old one that works just fine for me. :)

Just adding my two cents. This is horrible. Half of my posts when I click edit force me into the ridiculously demeaning new beep bloop beep editor with it’s clunky editing and the other half go to the perfectly normal one. Still looking for WordPress alternatives.

@geoffwhaley, Timethief answered your concern in her comment.
I also made a blog post with info on never using the Beep, Beep, Boop editor again: https://dandelionsalad.wordpress.com/2015/04/01/how-to-use-the-classic-editor-on-wordpress-com-blogs-and-never-see-the-beep-beep-boop-editor-again-by-lo/
I use the workaround by tpenguinltg listed on the blog post, so I never have to use BBB editor for new posts or for editing older posts.

brechbuehl, then don’t use it. Use the classic editor for making new posts and editing older ones.
See my comment above.
