How do I create a page that you can only get to by following a link?
-
I want to create pages that clients are directed to when they sign up for classes–like a thank you page for registering and a password protected page that has their class information–but that no one else can see. Can you help me?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sure! The first step would be to setup a custom menu following the steps here:
Otherwise, our newly created pages will appear in your top menu (which it doesn’t sound like you want).
Once we have our new menu activated, you’ll want to create the first page (the thank you page) like normal following the instructions here:
Provided we don’t add it to the custom menu we just created, it won’t appear at the top of your page. Readers will need to have the URL to see it.
Then, lastly, we can create the password protected page following the instructions here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/
Again, since we’ve created the custom menu, it won’t be included in the menu unless we want it to.

Thanks Jeremy,
I have a custom menu set up, but every page I publish shows up on my site. Should I make the page private if I don’t want it to show up on my menu? I don’t see anywhere that allows me to specifically put it on the custom menu or not put it on the custom menu. -

Never mind! I figured it out. Thanks again!
Great! If you run into any additional trouble, let me know.
