How do I change the catagories in my blog?

Simple as that. How do I change the catagories. My blog is about an army in this online game, and I want to edit them so I can have sections for people to go under to find out more specifically about my group. How do I do this?

Just for reference, bumping your own thread in 14 minutes is a no-no around here.
You can add categories at Dashboard (that’s the page you wind up at when you log in) -> Manage -> Categories. At the bottom of that page is where you fill in the information for your new category.
When you write posts, there’s a tab along the right hand side with your list of categories. Just check off the boxes you want to use for that post.

Well actually, when I do it they don’t show up, nor can I post in them. Can you tell me what I’m doin wrong?
Here’s what I do:
1. Go under “Dashboard”
2. Select “Manage” and “Categories”
3. Make the title for it
4. Put it under the “None” parent
5. Press “Add Category”Then it goes back to where I was, but the category is up there, but not available from the Home Page, or anywhere else. I can’t post there.

If you don’t have any posts in the category, it will not show up on the main page under categories. When you go to:
1) Dashboard
2) Manage
3) Write PostDoes your new category show up on the right side under categories for you to choose?
