How do I back up my site's content.

    Spain has just changed it’s intellectual rights legislation and now they are sending people to prison for linking to sites without permission and payment. My site does that and I don’t want to go to jail. So, I want to take it down–with the possibility of putting it back up if the legislation changes after the elections. What’s the best way to do that?

    Hi Mike,

    There are a couple things you can do if you’d like to take your site down temporarily. First, you can Export the contents of your site so you have a copy saved on your computer.

    Then, you can change your site’s Privacy Settings to set your site to private. That way, the only people who can view your site are you and the people you invite to view it. When you’re ready, all you need to do to make it visible again is change the privacy settings to public.
