  My class is trying to set up word press accounts. Every time they get to the email section and type in the @ symbol, an error pops up Error 666 and will not allow them to continue. Then it blocks them for 60 minutes.

  Can you please have them try creating their accounts at https://en.wordpress.com/signup/?user=1 ? If they still encounter issues, please ask them to take a screenshot and then send it to you. Then please upload it to your media library at http://rritter.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php so we can take a look.
