Some months ago I deleted my blog ‘’, because I didn’t use it anymore. Now I want to use the same name again for my new blog, but I can’t, because says de name is in use. But when I search ‘’, it does not exist. I really want to use my old name but I can’t find out how. Please help me.

It’s not in use, but it has been deleted as you said you did some months ago. Unfortunately that name is gone forever: does not reuse or recycle blog names.

Addresses (URLs) for blogs that have been deleted by the owner will remain deleted. We cannot, under any circumstances, allow someone to take over the address of a blog that was owned and deleted by its original/previous owner. Please do not submit support requests asking us to do this.

Imagine you have a blog for a while, but then decide to delete it for personal reasons. We then let someone else take over the name. A year later you get an angry phone call from a friend or relative who has clicked on an old bookmark, reads something offensive, and thinks that it was published by you. This is why our policy will remain in place.

You can (for free) alter the name by adding a number before or after it. Or add a word, for example “ferkdekroonspeaks,” or change the “o”s to “0” like so ferkdekr00n, or some other creative sort of change.

Or you can purchase a domain upgrade if is available:
