How can I show the author name with the Wu Wei theme?

    Hi,

    I’m using the Wu Wei theme on our blog.

    It’s great apart from one little problem – it doesn’t show the author name for any of our posts.

    Does anyone know if/how I can change this?

    That is not something we can change. Whether the author shows or not is set in the theme PHP script files and we cannot edit those.

    If you want to stick with Wu Wei, then you can use a byline at the top of each post, “By John” as an example.

    You can also put the author widget in the sidebar and then if someone wants to see all posts by a particular author, they can click on that author’s name in the author widget (works well for sites with multiple authors).

    Thanks – I thought that might be the case.

    We’re using bylines at the moment, So I think we’ll just carry on doing that for now.
