How can I move previous posts from one page to another
-
For example: I just added a static page to my blog to convert it to a “website”. I’ve added a page that I want blogs I’ve previously written to appear on. In other words, I need to separate existing content and have therefore created another page. I can’t find instructions anywhere to tell me to do it. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That does not answer my question and the post is really condescending – something I don’t need. I understand the difference between posts and pages and I also understand that I need to use the right theme. My question is simple – when I click on “new” to write a post, how do I get it on one of the pages from the nav. bar and not the home page? Every time I click ‘new’, it goes to the home page and not the page I want it to.

We love positive and productive discussions, so please keep comments on the topics at hand and not on other members of the community. Thanks!
No condescension at all. Your accusation is right out of line. raincoaster posted a link to post that exactly on topic. In the future I suggest you respect the forum code of conduct.

(1) There is only one page we can post to in any blog and
(2) The static pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ we bloggers create do not automatically update.Only the dynamic pages like Archives, Categories and Tags created by the software when we publish a post will update automatically update with new posts.
By default the front page of the blog is the Page that displays all posts in your blog. You can create a static front page but doing that does not change what follows.
Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.
We organize posts by assigning categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories pages into the custom menu.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#changing-the-order-creating-sub-menusWe can also add other items into a custom menu like static Pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-pages but as I said above no static Pages will ever automatically update.
This may be helpful http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2013/07/25/create-a-wordpress-website-step-by-step/
There are many common errors, misunderstandings and misconceptions when creating custom menus and there are some tweaks you can use to improve your custom menu as well.

All of these are static pages that will not automatically update. They are not dynamic categories pages that will automatically update.

I did respect the code of conduct, I expressed my opinion of a post, whether you agree with it or not. It’s all subjective. Your response addresses my question directly which is what I needed. Thank you. These forums are very confusing, frustrating and extremely time consuming for people like me who prefer to have a live person to talk to instead of scouring for answers through pages and pages of written comments.

Lastly, note you username link is b0RKED.

letteschat.wordpress.com doesn’t existHere’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Primary Blog. Where it says ‘Primary Blog‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.
Then every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

I really do appreciate you taking the time to point all these things out to me. I have literally spent HOURS working on this thing and I consider myself to be somewhat savvy. I will have to go through each one of your points and address each one. I eventually will park the domain, letteschat.com here, but I’ll cross that bridge later. *sigh*

The light bulb finally came on. Your post really helped me figure it out. Now I understand the categories vs. pages stuff and have set my site accordingly. Thanks again.
