How can I delete an old, unused site blocking my more recent site?

    I can’t post to my current account which is http://www.in-my-suitcase.com. WordPress is defaulting to goingyourownway.com I want to delete that permanently and begin blogging to in-my-suitcase.com but I’m blocked. I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to get help to resolve this for months. Please reply to me at (email visible only to moderators and staff). Thank you.

    Hi!

    So, what has happened is that you appear to have ended up with two WordPress.com user accounts. One that owns http://www.in-my-suitcase.com and another that owns goingyourownway.wordpress.com.

    There’s nothing wrong with this. But you will need to remember to log into the correct one to be able to post to goingyourownway.wordpress.com. The user account that you have created this forum thread with is the owner of goingyourownway.wordpress.com.

    If you want to delete in-my-suitcase.com, you will need to log in with that WordPress.com user account and then follow these instructions:

    https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/
