Hosting on wordpress but domain name from elsewhere

    Hello, I’m trying to start my blog on wordpress but had already purchased my domain name from Go Daddy. I have 3 questions please: 1. How do I go about starting the blog? 2. What’s the best wordpress plan for me in this case? 3. Can I transfer the domain name from Go Daddy to WordPress?

    I have a similar problem.

    My website is healthretreatsamui.wordpress.com.
    – I’ve paid my $9.95 to add a domain and redirected this site to the domain name below.

    My outside domain name is health-retreat-samui.com.
    – I’ve changed the DNS on this domain to ns1.wordpress.com (and 2 and 3).
    – I made this change about 24 hours ago and it has been confirmed by my domain host.

    When I try to access my site now using either address, I get a “This site can’t be reached – ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED”

    Please someone, tell me what I have done wrong, not done, or need to revise.
