Hitting 'like' without reading post

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve noticed that I’m getting ‘likes’ on posts, but the stats counter is not recording hits (One day I had 4 likes and 0 hits to my blog!). I can only assume that people are hitting the like button without actually going to the post in order to drive traffic to their own blog. It would be great if WordPress would make the like button accessible only from the blog post itself, so these false results would disappear!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There are several different ways that readers can start following your blog.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/following/
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/followers/

Anyone with a WordPress.com username account who is logged into WordPress.com can click the “like” button without visiting your blog and creating a page view stat.

    • A follower can click the “like” button when viewing your posts in the Readomatic reader on the home page of WordPress.com
    • A follower can click the “like” button when viewing your posts on the Topics pages.
    • A follower can click the “like” button when viewing your posts when using an app.
    • An email subscriber can click the “like” button in the email they receive of your new posts without visiting your blog.

P.S. To compel readers to click into my blog to read the full post I have set my RSS Feed to “summary” on this page > Settings > Reading

I don’t think Staff will entertain your suggestion and this is why. http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2012/04/26/more-likes/ WordPress com Staff have made it easy for members to “like” what they are reading, wherever they are reading it (Front Page, Archive Pages, and Search Results, Posts, Pages, Media).
