Hiding Tags and Categories on Gridspace Homepage in List View
-
Hello CSS Team,
I am working on a site called From the Athlete’s Kitchen that’s in the Gridspace theme. I’ve been able to use CSS to hide the categories and tags at the bottom of each individual post, and would like to also hide them from the homepage. They are currently visible when the site is in List View. Is there a way to accomplish?
Thank you very much!
Sincerely,
Allison Hudson

Hi Alison
Is the site in list view at the moment? I am only seeing the date, author and comment count when hovering over the images on the homepage.

Hi – thank you for your quick reply (and no worries re spelling :))
So it’s not in list view at the moment, but you can change it to list view via the icons on the upper right (below the social menu at the very top). The grid icon is selected, and the ‘three bars’ icon next to it will allow you to change it to list view. When you do, you will see the categories and tags appear below the post on the homepage. Those are what I’d like to hide… I hope this helps!

To hide the tags and categories on list view, add the following CSS.
.portfolios.list article .entry-summary .entry-meta { display: none !important; } -
That worked perfectly – thank you so much thesacredpath!
Have a great weekend,
Sincerely,
Allison
