Hide tags and categories at the bottom of post pages in Yoko theme

What is the CSS that will hide tags and categories at the Bottom of Post pages? I have the custom CSS upgrade and am using the “Yoko” theme. The blog I need help with is dogwood50plus.com. View the News/Events tab. Thanks.

Hi there, the following will hide tags and categories from the bottom of the blog and archive/category/tags pages as well as the bottom of single post pages.
.entry-content footer, .single-entry-content footer { display: none; } -
Thanks! It worked beautifully under the News/Events tab.
After selecting one of the posts under the News/Events tab, I noticed that the tags and categories show up below Share This. This also happens when a post is selected from Recent Posts (located on the right side bar). To hide the tags and categories, what is the CSS?

Hi there, there is a missing period ( . ) before single-entry-content in the CSS selector in your Custom CSS. Add that in and the metadata on the single post pages will be hidden.
-
Adding the missing period did the trick … thanks a bunch.
However, one post looks out of whack. Under News/Events tab, go down about the 9th post “WANTED – Volleyball Players”, the only difference between this post and the others is that this post was created using Image and not Standard format.
-
Hi, glad that worked for you. Image post types are for posts typically with only an image and if they don’t have an image, any accompanying text can go awry. I would suggest setting that post back to one of the non-image related post types, such as standard or aside. You can learn more about Post Formats in this support page.

Something just occurred to me, if I replace the word “footer” with “header” would the CSS hide the date and author at the top of the post pages?
-
If you’d like to remove the date and author from the top of single posts, this CSS should do the trick:
.single .byline, .single .entry-date { display: none; } .comments-link::before { content: none; }
