Generally it’s the “title” attribute on an image that controls the text that appears when you put your mouse over it, and you can edit it here:
If that doesn’t work, it may something in your theme that’s setting that text, and I’d need to see an example to help further. If you could provide a link to a page or post, as well as a screenshot showing where you’re seeing the “Read more” text on an image, I’ll be better able to help.

I am talking about the Hive Theme.
I purchased it from WordPress, for my website called http://www.revistacrestina.ro
It has a nice effect.
Without going with a mouse over an image, say the one with the birds, there’s nothing happening, see:
Than, if I do the mouseover,
You see that there is a capital R and a text. I would like to change the capital R in RC, which would be the initials of my website, and instead of the English text “Read more” I would like to change it into “Click aici!” which would be the Romanian translation of the text.

Thanks for pointing out where you’re seeing that text.
Hive is currently only 33% translated into Romanian. Theme translations automatically go live when they are at least 85% translated, so if you would like to add more Romanian translations to Hive in GlotPress, that would be awesome!

Let s try in an other way.
How can I connect to the theme by FTP?
I need to go to templates/featured-hover.php
and change something on the line 16.
I will do the rest myself. -
All WordPress.com theme translations are managed through GlotPress, not within the theme files. Text strings like “Read More” aren’t hard-coded into the theme files, they link up with the theme translations in GlotPress. If you are able to add more Romanian translations to Hive in GlotPress to bring it over the 85% threshold, we’ll be able to make it live and you’ll see “Citeşte mai mult” instead of “Read More” on your images.

It’s not possible to edit theme files or access FTP on WordPress.com, and even if it were, you wouldn’t hard-code the string into featured-hover.php. :)

Wonderful! Thanks for adding those. I’ll ask our internationalization team to see about having one of the volunteer Romanian validators look over and validate your translations. I can’t give you a specific time frame since these are volunteers, but I’ll keep you posted once it’s been done.

I don’t think it’s possible to change that, since the letter “R” is placed directly in the HTML, as you can see here, so it can’t be overridden with CSS:
