Help with a website
I am working on a website that has a carousel that features the blog posts that are posted. How am I to change the url of those blog posts go to a specific page instead of the post itself in the carousel?
The blog I need help with is rachelklemp.wordpress.com.
How am I to change the url of those blog posts go to a specific page instead of the post itself in the carousel?
I don’t see a carousel on the site you mentioned. But most of the time these carousels are designed to go to the associated page or post. Could you consider just putting those pages in the carousel instead? If you’ll send a link to your site we can try to see if that’s doable.
Also, for help with an individual WordPress installation with a different host, you’ll want to use the correct forums:
Thanks for replying. The website I want to mirror where there is a carousel is this one: https://northwoodsleague.com/madison-mallards/
the one that I am trying edit to look like is this one:mhttps://northwoodsleague.com/kokomo-jackrabbits/
If you see on the Madison Mallards page where it says the 2020 schedule, or tickets ect.. it links right to the actual page of the schedule or ticket page instead of going to the blog page… that is what I want to change with the Jackrabbits. Are you able to assist on where I am able to do this?
Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Thank you so much macmanx!
Do you know how to link a page to the carousel in general?
