I need to remove the hyphenation from my site, can anyone help please? I don’t know if I can do it without paying for custom designs etc
Id appreciate any help / advice.

I don’t see a single hyphenated word there. And I don’t think buying upgrades changes the way hyphenation works on the site.

Only certain browsers support CSS hyphenation – you can see which here:
http://caniuse.com/#feat=css-hyphens
You would be able to modify the hyphenation rules – in browsers that support hyphenation – with some custom CSS, which would require the Custom Design upgrade.
Adding this CSS under Appearance > Customize > CSS should remove hyphenation in posts and pages:
article .entry-content { -moz-hyphens: none; -ms-hyphens: none; -webkit-hyphens: none; hyphens: none; word-wrap: normal; }
Just let me know if you need further help.

I do not want hyphenation on my site, which I am just starting to build. How do I choose a “no hyphenation” option? I am using the “twenty-twelve” theme. Would using another theme make a difference?

Rhea – to remove hyphenation in Twenty Twelve, you can add the same code I provided above under Appearance > Customize > CSS.
article .entry-content { -moz-hyphens: none; -ms-hyphens: none; -webkit-hyphens: none; hyphens: none; word-wrap: normal; }
That will remove hyphenation in posts.
