Help adding domain to WordPress

    Hello, I recently bought a domain on go daddy and don’t know how to add the domain to WordPress so I can make my website with the domain. When I select add new site, it asks for a new domain to use and doesn’t give me an option to add an existing one.

    WP.com: Unknown
    Jetpack: Unknown
    Correct account: Unknown

    I see that you already have a WordPress site hosted by GoDaddy. Do you want to create a new site with us and host your site on WordPress.com?

    I ask just to clarify that there are two versions of WordPress, the WordPress.org software that is already running on GoDaddy servers here https://youfoundthebestm4.com and the WordPress.com hosted solution with us. Please check the following page that explains the differenes: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.

    Unless you want to move your site to WordPress.com, you already have a WordPress site with GoDaddy. You can go to https://youfoundthebestm4.com/wp-login.php and log in to start managing your site there.

    But if you want to start hosting your site with us on WordPress.com, you can map your existing domain by following the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/
