    Hi

    I am using the Shorditch theme, and I want to make sure the header image only appears on the home page, not every page.. is there a way to do this?

    the code for the header looks like it is simply

    <header-image>

    The blog I need help with is arbsdesign.com.

    Just to add to this, would it be possible once this is done.. to create a similar affect with different images for each page.. they could go into the html but they would then need to be CSSed to make them full width right?

    Thanks in advance!!

    Hi there, you can set a Featured Image for each page and that will show instead of the header image set at Customize > Header Image.

    If you want no header, or featured image on the top of pages other than the home page, you can use the following custom CSS.

    .page .header-image {
    	display: none;
    }

    Hi,

    thanks for getting back to me again you have been most helpful over the last year or so!

    I tried both of those suggestions and had the following problems:

    – The CSS hid the header image on the home page
    – the featured image set the image as a background for the entire page content so was super zoomed in and went all the way to the footer

    Thanks for your help again

    solved it with the following:

    .page .header-image {
    	display: none;
    }

    .page-id-63 .header-image {
    Display: block;
    }

    unless there is a better way?
