    Hi there,

    It can take about 4 days to 4 weeks for Google to index the site. You can read more about it on this page –

    Hello all.

    Using “Google Search Console” to validate mysite.wordpress.com

    1. Copy the meta tag below, and paste it into your site’s home page. It should go in the <head> section, before the first <body> section.

    <meta name=”google-site-verification” content=”uP_oz8ndF4XjtT9H0c4shBx5Tfv6AsCMjX5yeTVUKJM” />
    <title> My title </title>
    </head>
    <body>
    page contents
    </body>
    </html>
    2. Click Verify below.
    To stay verified, don’t remove the meta tag, even after verification succeeds.

    How do I do that?
    I tried inserting a tag to my home page but did not work :(
