Google Analytics

Let me start by saying that I LOVE WordPress! I have been using this platform for many years and have had good success and a great experience. So much so that I decided this year that I would support the folks at wordpress by actually hosting my blog on wordpress rather than farming it out on another host. We;;, I’m still getting the same great experience with one exception…plug-ins and Google Analytics.

Why in the world would a great platform limit users unless they pay an exorbitant $300 annual fee? One of the greatest tools wordpress offers are the plugins and I simply can’t wrap my head around the fact that my blog would take a $300 hit just to add some tracking and plugins. Sure, I can connect my property to google, but the analytics are useful in so many ways that I can’t understand this limitation.

When the time to renew comes around I guess I’ll have to go back to another host, it just doesn’t make any sense.

The blog I need help with is whirldworks.farm.
