Getting a static picture above the Gallery that is posted on the Home page

I keep getting a static picture above the Gallery that is posted on the Home page at http://ic2014.wordpress.com . I keep looking for code and changing the page…but, it is always there when I click on “Home”.

I’m unable to locate any code or link for this photo. Does anyone have any idea of where it can be coming from? I really want to “delete” this extra photo, but I’m unable to figure out where it is. Help please!

I just learned from a friend, that this is an issue related to a “Sticky Post”. So – the real question is: How do I get rid of a “Sticky Post” in the Yoko Theme. So far, neither of us has been able to figure this out. Any suggestions out there.

Are you sure it’s not a header image?
Appearance > Header

The header is a suggested size of 1102 pixels wide by 350 pixels high

Timethief, No it’s not a header image. It is ONE of the images that is part of the slide presentation just below it. It looked like your link about “#sticky-posts” was the answer I needed. However, I just checked the setting for “Visibility” and the “stick this post to the front page” is NOT checked.

As I mentioned: On the Post Page the page shows correctly.

When I click on “HOME” I get the extra photo.

This does not seem to be a “sticky-post” issue. I’ve gone into the page, and sticky post is NOT checked. However, this is one of the photos, that is part of the Slideshow that is on the page. Does anyone know how or why this picture is showing up at the top of the page when I click on home? When I click just to show the post, the page looks great with no extra photo. If anyone has a suggestion as to why this is happening and what I can do to DELETE the extra and unwanted photo, I will be very grateful for your help!
