Fullscreen Slideshow & Large Images
-
For the life of me, I can’t figure out how this site is coded (or what plug in is used).
http://jeremycowart.com/He has large images that you can scroll down, and at the top is a FULLSCREEN button that allows the images (or possibly separate gallery) to enter a javascript (I think) slideshow.
Any thoughts on how this is achieved, and what the best way to go about this?
Best, and thanks greatly in advance.

To get a similar effect of wide images and a close to fullscreen slideshow option at WordPress.com, you can add images as a single column gallery.
Check out this help page to learn more about how galleries work at WordPress.com and how to set one up: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/
To make a gallery full width, you would want to use the HTML editor and add a shortcode like this:
[gallery size="large" columns="1"]When you click on images in a gallery, a carousel view of the images is displayed fullscreen, similar to the one on the site you mentioned. See this announcement for more information about the carousel feature: http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2011/11/08/new-photo-carousel/
The footer of http://jeremycowart.com/ has a credit that says, “Professional Photoblog by Flosites.” I’m not sure what plugins they use, but you could try contacting the blog owner to ask them. Note that you cannot install outside themes or plugins at WordPress.com, but you can if you download WordPress from WordPress.org and set it up on your own web hosting account. Go to http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ to learn more about the differences.
