Follower count incorrect…

    So I just switched my blog over to a new one; hannahstrahmblog.wordpress.com

    and as I know, and as it shows in my stats, i have zero followers on there, which makes sense because I only created it a week or so ago. However, down at the bottom of my pages, where it has the widget for people to subscribe, it says:

    “Follow Blog via Email

    Click to follow this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email.

    Join 133 other followers”

    133!! I most certainly do not have 133 followers, so why is it showing up like that?

    Have you hooked up your site to Publicize, Twitter and/or Facebook for example? If so, that widget will also reflect your followers on those social networks.

    If it’s not that, then please post back here and let us know.

    Off topic, but if you want the link in your username to link back to your new site, you should change it in your Account Profile https://wordpress.com/me/account under “web address”. Remember to save your changes.
