How do I get on the Featured Blog spot. I write often but never seem to make it there, any help?

It’s somewhat hit dependent, but nobody knows the actual algorithm, and staff keep that stuff pretty quiet, so as to prevent people from gaming the system. The best advice I can give you is get a lot of hits in one day. And get them to a post that uses one of the categories featured on the main wordpress.com page, eg News, Family, Business, How To, etc.

I think, though, to be featured blog for a category all you have to do is have the most posts in that category.
