External subdomains, CNAME and A records

    Hi,

    I’ve just followed the instructions regarding subdomains, and have sort of mixed the last two sections – I am hosting a non worpress site externally, but I know the IP address. So I’ve created some A name records pointing to the IPs.

    I notice that there is a CName record that was created by default that looks like:

    CNAME *.pearg.com handled by WordPress.com

    Does the over ride my new A record subdomains?
