Esquire: Footer is bonkers!
-
Hello All,
The footer widget in Esquire is all over the place, and looks terrible. Has anyone had success adding widgets to the footer in Esquire? Blog is http://www.solidgoldcreativity.com
Many thanks in advance.

With only a single column of widgets at the bottom, it will be wacky and there is little to nothing you can do about it.
One thing I would suggest is to create a custom menu for all your pages and it will show up in the yellow section with the site title and always be right there beside the posts as people scroll around. You can see what it looks like here: http://allthekingshorses.wordpress.com/ .

Hi TSP,
That’s too bad. It’s quite a lovely theme.
If I have to choose, I would like to have the text in the text widget (“Welcome. I’m …”) that’s currently in the footer moved to the yellow section.
However, I can’t figure out how to do that using the Custom Menu page.
Cheers,

This theme supports only one widget area in footers. However you can make a sticky post and stick it to front of your blog, [or; can assign a front page] that visitors can read about yourself.
