ERROR Updating failed. Error message: The response is not a valid JSON response.

    Everytime I try to post a shortcode on my page, I get the, ‘ERROR Updating failed. Error message: The response is not a valid JSON response.’ And after I go to preview the page, the shortcode is on the page twice. above my top bar and again after my menu. How do I fix this error?

    In this case, can you try changing the theme on your site temporarily to see if that works? If you’ve inserted the shortcode once but it shows up twice, it could be a theme issue.

    Also, if the shortcode is generated by a plugin, you may also want to contact the plugin support for help as well. If you aren’t able to get help from the theme or plugin support, please post on the WordPress.org support forum here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums
