Hello there @lnoort!
Thank you for reaching out about this!
To regain access to your WordPress.com account, please send an email to help@wordpress.com, using one of your other email addresses, to verify ownership of the account you’ve mentioned, through any one of the following options:
- Provide a transaction ID from a recent paid upgrade to the account, which can be found on your billing statement from a credit/debit card or PayPal: https://wordpress.com/support/billing-history/#retrieve-a-transaction-id
- Share the WordPress.com account activation link that was sent to you when you first signed up. This email will have been sent to the email address associated with the WordPress.com account at the time when it was created.
- If you have one of the backup codes you generated when setting up two-step security, you can submit it using the Account Recovery form: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery. The form will help us verify the code against the account you want to access. Please note that backup codes are sensitive information and should be kept secure. For security reasons, please do not send the code as a reply to this email. Instead, use the form to verify it. Once you’ve submitted the form, we’ll send you a response via email.
If you’re unable to prove ownership, unfortunately, we won’t be able to help you recover the account. If you’re having trouble proving ownership, our support guide here reviews all available options in more detail: https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#if-ownership-cannot-be-established
If you wish to start a new site instead, you can create a new account at https://wordpress.com/start/user
