Embedding Windows Media Player

    Hi there,

    I am looking to embed standard WMP control in my blog posts as I want to use better quality video than is provided by the suppliers built in. Also I dont want a branded player with links off to youtube and the like… Is this possible? Can I request an alternative supplier be added to those built in?

    No, short form is: it’s not possible.

    WordPress has a very few, specific video options available, which can be found via the FAQ. Our options are limited because we’re on a shared, free blogging platform and so one vulnerability would be shared by everyone.
