Embedding code

    Hi, I’m trying to embed the Scrabble checker from this website into a post or page: http://www.collinslanguage.com/scrabble-word-games/scrabble-checker. However, when I paste the code, all I get is a link on my page and not the actual widget (I would LOVE to have the mini version of this widget in my sidebar, but I haven’t figured out how to do that either). The code is below. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong? Thanks!

    It looks like you could use gigya shortcode to make that appear on your blog.

    I’m not very good at it—it appears but doesn’t work:

    More properly:
    [gigya src="http://cdn.collinslanguage.com/media/resources/widgets/Scrabble.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#ffffff" width="380" height="165" allowScriptAccess="always" allowFullScreen="false" ]
    But it makes no difference – both produce the same result, both no worse than the original:

    a) Reason why the original embed code doesn’t work:

    b) Please paste the URL of your blog when asking questions here. Or, better, make your username link to your blog (Users > Personal Settings: scroll down to Account Details, paste blog URL in the Website field, click Save Changes).

    Thanks for the code help. I managed to get the widget into my sidebar but it didn’t function as I’d hoped. Not sure what happened. Oh, and my username does link to my blog.
