  Is there any way readers can subscribe by email to recieve notices about updates to your blog

  Feedblitz.com is quite ok. To see how it works, take a look at the link on the left column of my blog (http://filipspagnoli.wordpress.com). However, bare in mind that this kind of thing often ends up in people’s spam filters, even if your blog is ok.
