Domain transfer away from WordPress
-
Hi I recently transferred my domain away from WordPress to a new provider. However, I’m still getting redirected to a WordPress page saying ‘adelemariedesign.wordpress.com doesn’t exist’. Is there still a setting or preference setup that is getting in the way of my domain pointing to my new site? Not sure what could be causing this issue.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It looks like the WordPressdotcom address is adelemariedesigndotcom.wordpress.com If you want that address to redirect to your new site hosted elsewhere, you can purchase the Site Redirect upgrade. More on that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/
Please pay attention to the note there
Please note: In order for the Site Redirect to work correctly, the permalinks on the new site (the one you’re redirecting to) should match those at WordPress.com. WordPress.com uses the following permalink structure:
http://example.com/2014/10/21/sample-post/
If the new site you’re redirecting to does not use this permalink structure, the redirect will try to find a post on your new site that matches the post URL from your WordPress.com site, but some visitors may see an error message indicating no matching post could be found.
However, if you have added your blog to a subdirectory like /blog, be sure to specify the full blog url (mysite.com/blog).
Let us know if you have any other question about this.
