  Hi I was wondering whether from the 2nd year I have to pay additional domain renewal fees other than fees I have to pay for the wordpress.com plan?

  The free domain that’s given on upgrades is free for the first year only. As of the 2nd and proceeding years, the domain will be charged independently. Please use the link below for more information and scroll down to Managing Domains:
